Personal Sessions are in our Manitowoc location and led by our certified Yoga teacher Jessica Phillips

At New Day Mind + Body, Jessica, a certified Yoga teacher, offers a unique experience with her private classes.  This setting allows you to practice and learn without the fear of judgment or the pressure of keeping up with a class full of people.  You even have the option to bring a friend or family member to your session for free!


At New Day, the type of Yoga practiced is designed to help you regulate your nervous system, increase your flexibility, and still your thoughts. These benefits are not only helpful in deepening your sense of wellness but also in emotional healing and regulation.  


Some of our clients wonder if Eastern Spirituality is an integrated part of the New Day Yoga experience, and the answer is no.  We are a faith-affirming practice, but as with everything we do at New Day, we do not impose any form of spirituality within our Yoga experiences.  You can expect to be welcomed into our practice studio and introduced to stretching and breathing exercises designed to help you relax, gently stretch, and stay focused on stilling your racing thoughts and relaxing your body without requiring any spiritual dimension to your practice.  You can ask Jessica any questions to clarify your expectations for your experience.

  • GUIDED RELAXATION

    A THIRTY MINUTE PRACTICE BEGINNING WITH A FEW MOMENTS OF GENTLE, SEATED, WARM-UP FOLLOWED BY FOCUSING ON THE BREATH AND THEN BEING GUIDED THROUGH A DEEPER BREATH-FOCUSED PRACTICE, A GUIDED RELAXATION, OR PRACTICING PRESENT-MOMENT MINDFULNESS.  APPROPRIATE FOR ALL LEVELS - NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.

  • STRETCH AND RESET

    A FLOOR-BASED SERIES OF DEEP, STATIC STRETCHES WITH AN EMPHASIS ON STILLNESS AND THE INNER FOCUS OF THE PHYSICAL EXPERIENCE.  THIS IS A QUIET, CONTEMPLATIVE PRACTICE THAT WILL ENHANCE YOUR FLEXIBILITY, RANGE OF MOTION, AND SENSE OF CALM.  WE WILL USE A WIDE-RANGE OF PROPS TO SUPPORT OUR STRETCHES SO THAT YOU WILL FIND A SENSE OF DEPTH AS WELL AS A SENSE OF REST.  A ONE-HOUR SESSION IS PERFECT FOR THOSE THAT CRAVE STILLNESS - SUITABLE FOR ALL FITNESS LEVELS

  • SOMATIC STRETCHING

    AN HOUR OF GENTLE, DYNAMIC MOVEMENT WITH AN EMPHASIS ON THE INTERNAL EXPERIENCE.  A SESSION MAY INCLUDE STANDING, SEATED, OR LYING DOWN EXERCISES THAT WILL BE PERFORMED SLOWLY AND MINDFULLY WHILE SYNCING EACH MOVEMENT WITH THE BREATH.  A GREAT HOUR-LONG SESSION FOR THOSE WHO HAVE A HARD TIME BEING STILL, PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS.
