I am bringing my time at New Day Resource to a close.  As I’m winding things down I find myself reflecting with deep gratitude on the people I have come to know and the experiences we have shared.

When I began this work, I knew I would have the privilege of walking alongside people as they navigated life's challenges, explored their relationships, and discovered new possibilities for themselves. What I could not have fully anticipated was how much I would learn and grow through those encounters.

Each person I have met has brought something meaningful into my life. Through your stories, your vulnerability, your courage, and your willingness to engage in the sometimes difficult work of becoming, you have taught me so much about myself.

I am forever grateful for that.

I think one of the most beautiful gifts of this experience is that I have become more wholehearted. I have grown in ways I could not have predicted, and I carry those gifts with me as I move into the next chapter of my life.

When I think about my time at New Day, the words that come to mind are sacred ground. It has been sacred ground for learning, for growing, and for becoming. I have been privileged to share that space with so many wonderful people, and I will always treasure that experience.

As I say goodbye, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has been part of this journey. Thank you for the trust you have extended, the wisdom you have shared, and the ways you have enriched my life.

I leave with a grateful heart, carrying a little of each of you with me.
